Comments: Typically grown for foliage but will bloom with sufficient light and cool nights. Often mistaken for a palm. Mature leaves grow to be 2 meters long. The common name is derived from its bird shaped flower.

Toxicity: Mild nausea, vomiting, drowsiness; caused mainly by fruit and seeds.
