Comments: This plant is coveted for its ability to grow in darkness. The leaf fronds add extra interest as they emerge, slowly unfurling with a brighter green than the rest of the plant. The ZZ plant naturally forms bulbs near the surface of the soil.
Toxicity: All parts of the plant are poisonous. If chewed or swallowed symptoms can cause immediate pain or a burning sensation and swelling of the lips, mouth, tongue and throat. Contact dermatitis may also occur in sensitive individuals.
